The #1 Question I get asked is: “What can I do to improve my eBay sales?”
It’s a good question, but one that’s been addressed by many articles in the past.
So, rather than going over old content, I thought I’d answer a more pertinent question:
“What is the ONE THING I can do that will have the BIGGEST IMPACT on my eBay sales?”
Now that’s easy to answer…
The key to generating any sales online is a steady flow of traffic (people visiting your website or eBay listing).
Traffic comes in many forms, but by far, the most effective (and cheapest) way to generate traffic is EMAIL.
Yes folks, emailing your customers really is the key to your success online.
The problem is, many eBay sellers don’t know how / can’t be bothered to use email to produce sales.
The truth is, it’s way easier than you might think!
If you are an experienced eBay seller, you’ll be likely to have THOUSANDS of email addresses in your PayPal account, just waiting to hear from you.
Every single email address on that list is like gold dust to you, because it represents an opportunity, for you to sell to that customer again, and again, and again.
1. How Do I Get Started?
First, you need to understand, that you can’t just email your customers, through Hotmail, or Yahoo, or whatever free email service you are using. In order to send emails to all your customers at once, you need an email management service.
Our preferred service is Aweber, because they let you email up to 2,000 contacts, for FREE! This means, you can get started, with literally NO COST.
So the first thing you need to do is click the link below and get your free account…
While email is effective at driving traffic, you really want to be sending your customers to your own website, rather than your eBay store.
There are a lot of reasons for this (ebay sellers fees etc) but the main reason is that once you send someone to your eBay store, they are likely to check out other items on eBay (eg YOUR COMPETITORS).
It’s therefore always best to send your visitors to your own website, not eBay.
What results can you expect?
Each seller is different so it’s difficult to say exactly what you will get from your first mailout. As a general rule of thumb, you can expect a list of 1,000 previous customers to produce at least, 10-50 sales, depending on your offer.
The critical thing to remember here is that you will always achieve the best results (maximum profit) by sending customers to your own website.
